A 9 module programme taking you from thinking about starting your own business right up to launching the business. It can be used to start a brand new business or restarting/’rebooting’ an existing business.

It’s designed specifically for ‘personal’ businesses owned and operated by not more than two people. Once your business starts to grow we will recommend other advisors to help you with that.

This is a detailed programme taking you through the process of setting up a formal Personal Business. It is based on the book ‘How to Set Up Your Own Personal Business’ by Ben Coker and is available in both offline (using printed workbooks) and online forms accompanied by optional levels of coaching

Available as Fully Coached and  Self Study non coached options. 9 Sessions. Comes with workbooks and audio/video training and online or offline versions

What is the PBCS?

The personal Business Creation System does what it says on the tin.

It takes you, step by step, through the whole process of deciding what type of business you want, setting it up as a legal entity, working out your marketing strategy (easier said than done), setting up your financial systems including your payment methods and policies for clients/customers, checking out your operational systems and getting everything ready to launch your business.

This may sound like a lot to do, and you may think ‘why don’t I just get started and earn some money?’

But you know what? The vast majority of people who do that fail to get their business beyond a few months and they end up losing money rather than making it.

Starting a business sounds simple but it isn’t – it’s easy, but not simple – not that simple anyway.

And there’s something else which is the real value of the PBCS.

As a start-up business coach I’ve met hundreds of people who have, to be frank, been ripped off by unscrupulous providers. For example one lady paid nearly £5000 for what was a very simple website. I’ve also encountered people who have been grossly overcharged by accountants.

The thing is that there are people out there who will take advantage of you if they think (or you tell them) that you have no experience in a certain area – -usually IT, money management or marketing – the three things that make your business work.

And then on the other hand there are those  well meaning people ‘down the pub’, or your friends and family who, knowing very little if anything about business or what you plan to do that will give you their ‘expert’ (bad) advice – another way to end up losing money rather than making it.

The full PBCS investment consists of time and money and first you must consider whether you can commit the time and effort you need to set up your business in the right way. It’s difficult to say how long this will take as it depends on the type of business or business model you choose. It can be as little a a few days or as much as a few months.

Your financial investment for the fully coached option is £980 and the Self Study non-coached version is £296 . Prices are the same for the online or offline versions. Please note, the online version is not yet available – coming soon.

Additional coaching or clarity calls can be booked as required. Clarity calls are £26 each for 20 minutes.
