Time vs Life

Time and life are tied together, particularly in the term ‘lifetime’ and we should understand what this means. One lifetime is the experience we have as infinite beings inhabiting a physical third dimensional host being.

Let’s consider this concept we call time. We live in a planet which orbits a star we call the Sun. it takes what we call a ‘year’ to complete one orbit. The planet we live on which we call Earth (very unimaginative) is rotating on an axis and we call a single rotation a ‘day’. The third constant is the orbit of the Moon around the Earth which we call a ‘month’.

Now it gets complicated. There are approximately 13 months in a year according to the orbit of the moon and approximately 365 1/4 days in a year. This is the basis for our system of time. Time is such does not exist. Why? Because it is not energy, just a concept. Time, like energy, cannot be created or destroyed, but neither can it be transformed. It cannot be turned into anything else or created from anything else and it is non dimensional except as a fourth dimensional thought pattern. We as a people (most of us) have arbitrarily divided the year into 12 months, which doesn’t match the lunar months, and the year into 52 weeks each of which has 7 days.

But it’s all out of synch. Weeks and months don’t match with each other or with the natural rhythms. The day has been divided into 24 hours each of 60 minutes each of 60 seconds, and we use this generally to measure how we run our lives, what we do and ‘when’ we do it. We talk about spending, taking, using, wasting, and saving time but this is the wrong way of looking at it.

What we’re really doing is not related to time but to life. We spend our life doing things we use our life doing things and so on. Everything should be related to life not time which is only a convenient way of understanding and measuring what is going on. The problem for most people is time has taken over. They allow themselves, their lives, to be ruled by the clock. Certain things ‘have’ to be done at certain times of the day which may or may not be consistent or align with their personal body cycles and patterns. This can lead to stress, anxiety and more serious illness patterns.

In the Full by Forward course you’ve learned about the four domains of life and how you can achieve balance rather than following a predetermined timesheet to decide what you do and when. Keep in mind time is effectively meaningless. It’s what you do with your life not your time, which is important. After all it’s our life we possess not time.
